Spur Shelving Factory Re- opens in Torrington Devon - March 2007

Storage Solutions Ltd opens manufacturing plant at Great Torrington, Devon. Peter Sully, Managing Director, was pleased to announce the start of shelving production at the plant, once run by the Spur Shelving Ltd. He said "Setting up a manufacturing site was a logical move for us as a Spur Shelving distributor. Engineering businesses continue to move to the Far East but we see this changing in the fulness of time. We need to be able to add the bells and whistles that our customers require and this facility enables us to compete in an ever changing environment."

The products currently under manufacture are domestic and commercial shelving products, including, twin slot wall mounted, bolted shelving and boltless shelving systems with medium span archive racks as the core of the product range.

Spur Shelving from Storage Solutions Ltd

Spur wall mounted twin slot shelving, also known as Gardinia in Europe, is one of the most respected names in the shelving industry for wall mounted cantilever shelves. The system is designed to cover your shelving requirements for retail shop displays, office, home or garage. This system uses uprights fixed to the wall, with parallel slots that the spur bracket fits into, to give a strong support for steel or timber shelving of your choice.

Spur is available in a number of colours; including white, brown, matt silver, black and office grey. We are also able to supply bespoke RAL and BS coloured items to match your requirements, subject to quantity.

In addition we also have stocks of Spur Cliffhanger in white, black and silver and Spur aluminium T-slot cantilever and radiator brackets. Originally called "Budget" but actually a classy product; T-slot is available in white, black and magnolia. We have access or the ability to manufacture most Spur products from our network of wholesalers.
